What’s the U?? You can get a job in LA, but you’ll need an internship first.
You would need an American qualification and licence. Your UK education might not count for much at all. It would be worth looking for work with an American company with offices in the K then angle for a transfer.
An internship can be either working for nothing or next to nothing during Uni breaks or can be a training position over a couple of years with a lot of time spent on courses and moving around different areas of the company. Either way you need an employer to sponsor you for a work visa to do that and they would have toprove they can’t find anyone local to fill the post.
